Therefore, the first step is always to check and adjust the pH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(If using water from an artesian well, it is recommended to provide a recent water sample for analysis to ensure suitability.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns are-vertically-aligned-center mt-4 mt-lg-5 is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">pH Adjustment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ideal pool water pH is between 7.2 and 7.6, with 7.4 being optimal.
